Conor Rothwell

Conor studied an MEng in Architectural Engineering at Cardiff University during which he completed three summer placements with Mann Williams, building a foundation of practical construction understanding in parallel with structural and design theory.

Since graduating and joining our team permanently, Conor has worked on a variety of projects, ranging from the conservation of scheduled monuments to the extension and adaptation of modern steel and concrete frames.

After taking on the role of Project Engineer, Conor has gained an invaluable understanding of the issues posed by existing buildings – be it the vibration governed analysis of a 17m span dance floor, or the justification of traditional timber trusses to modern design codes. Unconventional design challenges he has taken in his stride.
