Iasonas Bakas
Senior Engineer MEng (Hons), MScIasonas joined Mann Williams in 2016, following completion of an extensive project of 150 commercial building structural surveys in Greece. He completed his MEng in Structural Engineering in 2014, followed by an MSc in Conservation of Historic Buildings at University of Bath in 2016.
His academic background and practical involvement in a number of conservation and new build projects have helped him to develop a good understanding of heritage structures, as well as contemporary structural design.
Used to working in a multidisciplinary environment, Iasonas’ appreciation of cooperative work and the need for mutual understanding of design requirements is fundamental to his approach. He sees collaborating with other consultants and contractors as the basis of structural engineering itself.
